As part of the 1st Student Conference of the 3rd Directorate of Secondary Education of Athens, titled “The School of the 21st Century in the Community,” organized by the 3rd Athens Directorate of Secondary Education, more than 1,000 students took part in a major celebration of learning and creativity!
The Innovation Centres actively participated by implementing the workshop “Exploring Space,” where students had the opportunity to experience a unique virtual reality activity.
With the help of VR headsets, students from special vocational schools (EN.E.E.GY.L.), middle schools, general high schools, and vocational high schools (EPAL) in the area “traveled” to the International Space Station and learned:
- how astronauts move in microgravity conditions
- how they live and work in space
- how science and technology are transformed into experience
Technology becomes a tool for understanding, exploration, and inspiration.
Innovation Centres bring education closer to the future — through experiential activities that make learning truly unforgettable.
