As part of the development of the Innovation Centres, a comprehensive suite of educational programmes was designed and developed to support the pedagogically sound integration of the advanced technologies available within the Centres. These programmes cover a broad range of thematic areas, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Extended Reality (XR), Educational Robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Digital Fabrication, while aligning these emerging technologies with the current Primary and Secondary Education curricula.
Each educational programme follows a common pedagogical framework and includes clearly defined learning objectives, suggested activities to be carried out before, during, and after the visit to the Innovation Centre, student worksheets, assessment recommendations, and supporting educational resources. The programmes are based on contemporary pedagogical approaches, including inquiry-based, experiential, and collaborative learning, with a strong emphasis on developing 21st-century skills, digital literacy, and creative problem-solving.
The educational programmes were developed through the collaboration of the Computer Technology Institute and Press "Diophantus" (CTI "Diophantus"), universities, researchers, and educators, with the aim of creating a unified, high-quality educational repository for the Innovation Centres. All programmes were designed according to a common pedagogical framework, ensuring consistency in structure, scientific rigour, and ease of implementation by educators, regardless of subject area or educational level.
The table below presents a selection of representative educational programmes. This catalogue will be continuously expanded to support the ongoing enrichment of the activities delivered by the Innovation Centres and to promote the dissemination of best practices in education.
