The Computer Technology Institute & Press “Diophantus” (CTI), under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, participated in the 89th Thessaloniki International Fair (6–14 September 2025) with its own booth, showcasing emblematic projects in the field of education and innovation.
A central feature of the booth was the Innovation Centres project, which is already being implemented in all Regional Directorates of Education across Greece. Members of the project team were present at the Fair, presenting to visitors the actions completed so far and the upcoming phases. Visitors had the opportunity to experiment with the equipment and learn how Innovation Centres will become learning, experimentation, and collaboration hubs for students and teachers, introducing cutting-edge technologies and new methodologies into educational practice. On the opening day, the booth was visited by the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, who was thoroughly briefed on the project’s progress and held discussions with the implementation team. The Minister’s presence highlighted the strategic importance attributed by the Ministry to the Innovation Centres as a key driver for the digital transformation of education.
Throughout the Exhibition, the booth attracted a wide audience, including teachers, education officials and parents interested in the opportunities that the Innovation Centres will offer to local school communities. Special interest was expressed in how these structures will leverage innovative technologies, and create a modern, inclusive learning environment.
Participation in TIF 2025 was an important step for the project’s outreach, providing an opportunity to present its progress, discuss its perspectives with the educational community, and showcase its contribution to shaping an educational ecosystem that connects schools, universities, research centers, and local communities.
