The paper highlights the philosophy, design, and implementation of an innovative teaching scenario on the topic of climate change, which was developed as a pilot action within the Innovation Centres. The approach emphasizes participatory and experiential learning and integrates cutting-edge technologies such as Extended Reality (XR), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT).

Participation in NARST, one of the most prestigious international conferences in the field of science education, significantly contributed to:

• showcasing the project to the international research community,
• networking with research institutions across the US and Europe,
• and validating the pedagogical and technological innovation brought by the Innovation Centres to the Greek educational system.

This presentation forms part of the project’s broader strategy of international engagement and exchange of best practices in the context of the digital transformation of education.
