As part of the publicity actions for the Innovation Centers project, members of the Project Team participated with a presentation at the two-day conference titled “Connecting School & University: The Voice of Students and Educators,” held on May 30 & 31, 2025, in Ioannina. Their presentation was titled: “Can Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools Foster Mathematical Thinking? A Study with Middle School Students.”
The presentation highlighted how technology—specifically Artificial Intelligence—affects education and the teaching of Mathematics. At the same time, it was emphasized that the Innovation Centers aim to expand and support similar research initiatives and to promote innovative pedagogical and teaching approaches.
The participation was creative, as it encouraged the exchange of ideas on new pedagogical approaches, the use of new technologies, as well as other important issues such as the development of teaching scenarios and school pedagogy.
