The National Documentation Cente, a member of the European Digital Innovation Hub Smart Attica EDIH, is organizing a training program titled:
"Artificial Intelligence & Philosophy: From Human Thought to Machine Learning" on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 (10:00 – 11:30 AM, online).

This training program explores the fascinating journey from philosophical inquiries about the nature of human thought to modern applications of artificial intelligence.

Through both theoretical and practical approaches, participants will have the opportunity to learn about philosophical discussions on intelligence and consciousness, which historically revolved around the human ability to think, perceive, and be aware of existence. Today, the development of AI adds a new dimension to these philosophical questions, as machines' ability to "think," learn from data, and make decisions presents new challenges for understanding intelligence.

Distinguished speakers from research, academia, and the business sector will examine the connection between innovative AI developments and ancient philosophy, as well as the ethical issues arising from AI usage.

This event is part of a series of initiatives designed for Greek small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and organizations from various sectors of Greek entrepreneurship, aiming at their digital transformation. It is the second of four training programs in this cycle, organized within the Smart Attica EDIH framework.

The events will be conducted via Zoom and are free to the public, but pre-registration is required. The language of the events is Greek.
